Call the phone numbers provided above, if you would like to sign up or find out if you are eligible for Medical Transportation Services. The Medical appointment must be non-emergency treatment and trips should be scheduled 72 hours ahead of your appointment. Medical Transportation does cover pharmacy pick up for prescriptions, as long as, it is the pharmacy closest to your home. If Ky. State Medicaid determines you are not eligible for Medical transportation because you have a car in your name at the address you are picked up from, then you will be provided a phone number to call to find out what you can do to become eligible for transportation. If the car is inoperable, then there are steps you can take to get that taken care of through the State of Ky.
