If you choose to reach out to the volunteers here at Safe-Space we’d appreciate it if you’d contact us via email or text messaging, announcing you’re about to call before you actually proceed to ring us. We are asking this of everybody because there are thousands of incoming calls just from telemarketers alone who spam us. Add those to rude people that crank call pretending to have something wrong with them, and we just don’t have the time to continue filtering each incoming call because it’s taking our time from those who are really seeking a live person to speak with suffering with real problems. So, to weed out potential clients from telemarketers, we ask you to text/email us before proceeding with your call. That way either myself, or any of our other volunteers will know which person is about to call-in. If the line/lines are busy we can free them up so you’ll get through to one of us much, much quicker.
